It logs the BSSID of the connected AP, RSSI, channel and data rate every second. Logging continues when the app runs at background. With this information, you can tell:

- whether the client is connected to the best AP at its location or not

- whether the client roams to the expected APs as it moves from one location to the other or not

- the RSSI measured by the client right before it performs roaming

- whether bad experience on an app is caused by poor roaming behavior

With information captured by this tool, you can fine tune your Wi-Fi infrastructure to provide better roaming experience.

Note:

- Although the logging area is updated once per second, the update frequency of the RSSI, channel and data rate readings depends on the underlying OS. All of the devices I used for testing show new data every 3 seconds.</br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br></br>
